A Client Account Manager is the main point of contact for clients, as well as internal members of the agency (ad specialists, agency owners, project managers or other).

  1. To start, a strong Client Account Manager (CAM) is highly organized and is a self-starter. They’ll need to be able to take a project and scope it out with timelines, deliverables, all while managing people on the team to ensure all the boxes are checked and delivered to the client on time.

  2. A cool, calm and collected approach to problem solving on the daily! There will be issues coming up within client accounts everywhere they look. A successful CAM is able to handle the pressure and not get too stressed out.

This is one of the most important qualities of a CAM. To be successful, they must be able to handle things flying at them from every direction, all of the time.
