What about the company culture stood out to you?
The company culture at DOT is really something special and CAM school made it abundantly clear that I really wanted to be a part of it! The genuine warmth, caring, and support woven throughout DOT & Company stood out to me right from the start and who wouldn’t want to be in a work environment like that?
DOT Vibes are something that permeate the company culture and we of course want our clients to feel them (and really, everyone we come in contact with). What are DOT Vibes? Taylor McMaster, DOT’s founder, summed it up perfectly when she said, “When you communicate in a way that’s warm, friendly, and makes the other person feel your love!” It doesn’t get any better than that, my friends.
Client Account Manager DOT & Company
Why did I want to work with DOT & Company
As amazing as the things I’ve already mentioned are, there are even more things to gush about 🙂 I knew I wanted to work at DOT & Company because I could tell right away that DOT offered the exact types of opportunities I was looking for. I had been a solopreneur for a few years but came to realize that working by myself was not the best fit.
I had a few opportunities to work with agencies during that time and it became abundantly clear to me that I thrive in a team environment. That realization launched my search for a team I could call home. I looked high and low and when I finally found DOT & Company it was almost surreal to discover a role I never knew existed, but that was exactly what I was looking for! Getting to focus on building relationships with clients? Getting to live out my obsession with process and organization on the daily? Getting to be part of a team that’s even more amazing than I was hoping for? Yes, please!

How did you find the hiring process? What were your first impressions?
DOT & Company’s hiring process is very unique. I knew from the get-go that it would be rigorous, but it was something I wanted to be a part of so much that I happily rolled up my sleeves and got to work. It was challenging but I could feel that Taylor, Katie, and Emma really wanted to help me succeed and CAM School gave me the resources and support I needed to do it. I knew that the opportunity to work with them would be worth all of the effort it would take!
If you were to give someone advice who's thinking about applying to work at DOT & Co., what would you tell them?
My best advice for someone who is thinking of becoming a CAM is to show them how much you want to be a part of what they’re creating and demonstrate the value that you will bring to their clients and team. Don’t hold back! Be authentic and open about what you bring to the table and your excitement to become a CAM!
If you’re inspired, as I am, by DOT & Company’s vision then I encourage you to learn more and apply to be a part of it all! Cheers, to happy clients (and CAMs 😊) !
