The Systems We Ensure Every Agency Has

Systems are the backbone of any successful agency, we all know this. But how do we ensure each agency we're working with has the right systems so that we can jump in and keep their clients happy?

Firstly, we look at the client onboarding system. This is one of the most important systems because it's the first experience the client has when they start working with your agency. Inside of this client onboarding system, we look for certain elements, which you'll hear all about in this episode.

Next up, we look at the ongoing management of the clients. A big part of our role as a Client Account Manager is to keep clients happy on an ongoing basis, so here are some questions:

  1. where are we going to be sending reports? How often?

  2. Who is responsible for each piece of the reporting puzzle?

  3. Do we have email and reporting templates in place?

These are all really important things to keeping clients happy on an ongoing basis.

Next, is gifts! Who doesn't love receiving something in the mail? If we have something systematized, most likely inside of the agency's project management software, where we as a Client Account Manager are responsible for sending gifts, this makes it sooo much easier for us to manage the relationship! Also, when it comes down to resigning the contract in 3 months, it's more promising they'll extend their contract when we've had the chance to WOW the client & build a relationship over an extended period.
