Should I Feel Bad About Not Wanting To Work With My Clients?

We, agency owners, take everything personally. It's okay to want to hand over the day-to-day to someone else. I mean, how awesome would it be to have someone fully dedicated to your clients!?

On the other side of the coin, we also get it. How are you supposed to just hand the reins over to someone who didn't develop and nurture this client relationship from Day 1?

We know where you're coming from. And if we haven't met yet: Hi, I'm Taylor! 👋 I used to run an advertising agency myself and now focus solely on my favourite part of it all: creating a premium client experience and nurturing long-lasting happy clients.

So trust me when I say I've been there. If I'm being honest, I have a client currently who I've worked with for YEARS, and I still take everything so personally. Contrast this with the clients I have with agencies, yes I do take my work personally and have great pride in my skills, but nothing outside of that. The results, the emotions, I don't take it personal.

Tune into this episode of the Happy Clients Podcast (or watch below!) where we talk you through how to let go of control in the client world, and also that it's totally okay to have those days where you don't want to work with your clients. Lucky for you, we always want to work with your clients! The DOT & Company team is hungry to take on more agency partners and essentially free you up from all the personal stuff.

While some relationships will take time (we never rush the process), the end result is always worth it: happy clients coming back for more + the satisfaction on our team of knowing we are helping growing agencies to scale.

If this is resonating, let's book a call to see if we can help out 🙋

& cheers, to happy clients!

Taylor xx
