What It's *ACTUALLY* Like To Run An Agency
James Rose is the host of the show Agency Highway. His show brings on agency owners within the industry to discuss paths to success. James and his guests share their advice on how to earn more and work less and they share their experiences of all the common industry pitfalls and how to avoid them.
In this episode, we dug DEEP into his agency and how he saw success. Here's a sneak peek:
Realizing You're Ready for Someone to Take Over Your Clients
At some point, you're just not getting back to clients fast enough. And it's not good for your clients to be contacting you because you've got so much on your plate that you just can't reasonably get back to everyone fast enough. So that was the big thing for me, putting someone else on whose role was to monitor client requests and get back to them immediately even just to acknowledge that we've got their request.
Importance of Networking To Grow Your Agency
For me it's mostly a lot of online networking, whether that's interviews, running my own podcast, meeting people, that obviously leads to partnerships. Because partnerships are just key to everything, that was how our agency grew as well - key partnerships. That's a big part of my role.
Why You MUST Make It Easy For Your Clients
The big part of it which we've learned over time is making it insanely easy for clients because that's the biggest thing. If a process is even slightly difficult for a client they're just not gonna do it. Anything that's hard goes to the bottom of the pile.
