Zoom life is REAL and everyone is living online, now more than ever. Between internal meetings, client meetings, and DOT & Co. social culture, we do it all on ZOOM.

Here's how we combat Zoom fatigue and make every interaction the best possible!

  1. Set the tone - you want to open with some casual conversation, it's important! Ask how the weekend was? pets? kids? You'll want to keep it light and set a comfortable tone, from the beginning.

  2. Be efficient - The DOT & Co. team thrives on efficiency. So come prepared, use your time wisely and make sure you're keeping meetings on task! That way you're running an effective meeting that stays on time. Leaving you enough time to take a breath and prepare for your next online event!

  3. Don't overbook - Back to backs, are tough, know your limits. Reality check - you can't do it all. So you need some help. Our favourite tool is Calendly, and we use it regularly. An online scheduler helps your calendar stay doable. So you're not filling your day with back-to-back meetings, there is space and room for snack and coffee breaks. Make sure your clients are booking through something like Calendly when you can control the frequency of meetings and the time before and after. We all need that 15 minutes after a long meeting to ourselves, so use something that is managing your calendar. This way your online Zoom time is managed as well!

  4. Relax. Easier said than done right? Everyone is in the same boat, we're all in this together. Take the pressure off, and enjoy your Zoom meeting. Sometimes, it's the only time we 'see' people, so make sure you're present and absorbing the info.
