New year edition: Our very own goals for 2021!
When we reflect on the past year and see what was accomplished—the wins we had, the laughs and the tears— it's pretty great, right?! Now, leading into a fresh, new year, it's time to set out some fresh goals and roadmaps for success, and we want to let you in on what OUR goals look like.
Here's where we start: Firstly, we look at the market, where there are opportunities and how we could potentially help serve that segment of the market. Right now, we're focused on 'done-for-you' services which are full-service client account management services for the growing digital marketing agency. We love what we do, ten-fold, but there are more avenues we can explore (and our clients are asking for!) which will allow us to bring on more amazing team members and help more agencies and client account managers.
Training. Agencies need great client account managers, but how can we replicate our methods fast enough to keep up with the number of growing agencies worldwide? We want to serve agencies in a way that they can grow their team, rather than always relying on our in-house team of client account managers. Here's how we see this coming to life in 2021: 'CAM school by DOT & Co.' — an all-encompassing training program for the client-facing account manager or agency owner who's looking to level-up their client experience and project management to scale.
Hiring. We are asked all of the time "how do you hire such great people"?! Well, I guess we've perfected the hiring process! We believe there are thousands of people out there, just like us, who would make stellar client-facing account managers. We just need to find them, train them and pair these folks up with great agencies. Our goal is to package up our hiring system and offer that to agencies.
Customer Service. We fulfill the customer service aspect of managing clients, but what about industries that may need more of a client service representative, rather than a full-service client account manager? Our Goal: We see an opportunity to serve more than just digital marketing agencies, where we can still embed ourselves into the business and give their clients the experience they deserve with done-for-you customer service and project management. We will be launching a customer service branch of DOT & Co.
Products. A huge element for success: systems and processes. We've spent the last few years building out these to better serve the agencies we work with, but why not share these with the world. Here are some of our ideas that we'll be implementing and offering this year: Hiring package, Systems package, Email templates, Standard Operating Procedures, Onboarding docs, and more.
Most importantly, we ask: How do we want to feel?
This may sound woo-woo to you, but it's a very important element to setting goals that'll stick. If you want to feel calm, in-flow and happy on a day-to-day basis, your work needs to reflect this. With this in mind, for us this year, we only want to work with amazing clients who value our work, who value the role we serve in their agency and continue to grow together. If we have clients who are less than passionate about us— we won't continue to partner. We also want to feel free which includes more free-time! So, our goal? To spread out the workload with our team, and only take on clients who are passionate about having us onboard and it feels like a mutually beneficial relationship, including the scope, pricing and commitment.
